Test your
D-Dimer

Looking for an easy way to test and monitor your D-Dimer?
It's included in the HealthieOne Disease-Specific test.

D-Dimer

Explanation: D-dimer is a protein fragment produced when a blood clot dissolves in the body. Under normal conditions, D-dimer levels are very low or undetectable. However, when the body forms and breaks down significant blood clots, D-dimer levels can rise. Measuring D-dimer in the blood helps healthcare providers determine if there's abnormal clotting activity occurring.

Test Purpose:

  • Check whether the body has a blood clotting condition.
  • Monitor individuals at risk for complications, including those with infections, recent surgeries, or certain chronic diseases.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments aimed at resolving blood clots.
