Explanation: Methylsuccinic acid is a compound produced during the metabolism of certain amino acids and fatty acids in the body. In healthy individuals, this compound is present in very low amounts. However, in certain metabolic disorders, this compound can accumulate, leading to health issues. 

Test Purpose: Detect certain inherited disorders of fatty acid metabolism or glutaric acidemia type II (GA2)
