Test your
Glucopsychosine
Looking for an easy way to test and monitor your Glucopsychosine?
It's included in the HealthieOne Disease-Specific test.
Glucopsychosine
Explanation: Glucopsychosine is a fatty substance that forms when certain complex fats in cell membranes aren't broken down properly. In healthy individuals, this compound exists in very small amounts. When there's a genetic problem with an enzyme called beta-glucosidase (GBA), this substance builds up in the body. This accumulation can damage cells and organs over time. Measuring glucopsychosine levels in blood helps identify and monitor this specific genetic condition such as Gaucher disease.
Test Purpose: Detect Gaucher disease, a rare inherited disorder affecting how the body processes certain fats.
