Estriol
Looking for an easy way to test and monitor your Estriol?
It's included in the HealthieOne Complete test.
Estriol
Explanation: Estriol is one of the three main types of estrogen, a hormone that helps regulate the female reproductive system. Estriol is especially important during pregnancy because it’s made by the placenta and helps with the development of the baby and the preparation of the mother’s body for childbirth. Outside of pregnancy, estriol levels are typically very low.
Test purpose:
- Testing its levels provides valuable insights into fetal health, helps detect for genetic conditions, and supports safe prenatal care.
- Detect adrenal or hormone imbalances: estriol levels in non-pregnant individuals help assess adrenal or ovarian health.
